Casa Rubia is a modern tapas restaurant located in the growing area of Trinity Groves in Dallas. Since I will be traveling to Spain next month, Casa Rubia was the perfect spot to get me excited for my trip! The interior has a dark, sexy vibe and the large bar is perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine and tapas with friends. Casa Rubia recently launched their “Social Hour” featuring several cocktails and tapas for a reduced price Monday-Friday from 5pm-8pm. Everything on the menu is under $5 including six cocktails, three “porrons”, and seven tapas. Here is a look at what was ordered…

All three of these tapas were delicious. I grew up with my mom making Spanish omelettes on special occasions that were delicious but I have to say the manchego fondue they cover this one with is out of this world! The “Bikini” was one delicious little grilled cheese and I probably could have eaten another one. The tomato jam they put on top takes it to another level.
I am looking forward to going back to try their other cocktails, “porrons” and the rest of their tapas. If you make a trip out there, let me know what you think!
Cheers!
