Happy almost Friday, guys! I don’t know about you but I am ready for the weekend and plan on spending it cleaning the house and working in the yard (gosh I sound like such an adult). The weather here in Dallas has been gorgeous and has me getting so excited for fall and all of the fall fashion that comes with it. Two key pieces to any fall wardrobe are boots and scarves. No matter what trend or fad comes along, some version of boots and scarves will be a part of your fall wardrobe.
In order to show off a few ways to style a scarf and highlight a few different styles of boots, I shot some photos with a few of my friends who are fabulous fellow Dallas bloggers! We probably had a little too much fun during this shoot… Friday evening after a busy work week called for daiquiris, champs, and a few cervezas to get us through it. As always we had a blast and continued the fun at a restaurant afterwards. We do these blog posts together because #1, they’re fun, but more importantly, to share our different styles and provide you with outfit inspiration. Me – The Fashion Hour
I’ve yet to meet a grey sweater I didn’t like so it was a no brainer purchasing this oversized one from H&M last week. It’s under $35 and comes in 3 colors! I’m a little obsessed with all things oversized so this cozy plaid scarf was the perfect addition. I paired the look with my favorite black skinny jeans and a pair of black suede over-the-knee boots (a must for fall!).
Amanda – The Miller Affect
Amanda’s outfit has October written all over it. The plaid orange blanket scarf, the utility jacket, the light brown booties, the pumpkin patch backdrop… it screams fall! The best part is her scarf is under $30 and her brown suede booties are under $150!
Jaime – The Real Fashionista
You may remember seeing Jaime’s face during my New York Fashion Week recap last month. She was one of my roomies and partner in fashion week crime. Jaime and I always have a lot of fun together and I still can’t get over that she is a mom of three boys… like what? #momgoals Jaime is wearing a beautiful burgundy suede bomber jacket with a knotted plaid scarf and black suede peep toe booties. This is a perfect date night or girls night out look for fall!
Christina – Fashion & Frills
Christina is just the sweetest person ever and always has the most fabulous outfits. When you think “hey wear boots and scarves”, jeans and a tee may come to mind. Not for Christina! She is wearing this gorgeous off-the-shoulder sweater dress with a long fringe scarf and over-the-knee boots. Perfect dressed up look for fall!
Lynlee – Gal About Town
Lynlee is rocking an easy go-to look for fall. She obviously has a love for grey sweaters like I do and the one she’s wearing is SUPER soft! I love her pastel colored scarf and those peep toe booties are perfect for the weather we’re having right now!
