Low Back Halter Dress -

Good morning! I hope you’re having a great weekend. Yesterday Ita and I went to the most delicious brunch at a new spot in downtown Dallas. The restaurant is called City Hall Bistro and it’s inside the Adolphus Hotel. It is the most beautiful spot and their brunch menu is to die for. We ate everything from falafel and hummus to nutella drizzled waffles to paella and Serrano flatbread. They even had a special brunch paella that was like if shakshuka had a baby with paella but without the seafood. Basically it was all amazing and if you live in Dallas you should go. But enough about brunch, today’s post is all about this low back halter dress.

I am all about light and breezy dresses in the summer and this one has been a go-to. I love the high/low hem and that it ties around the neck and around the back. Although it’s lightweight, it is the kind of dress you can get away not wearing a bra with. I’ve also worn it with a little cami underneath for a more conservative look.

If you live in dresses like this in the summer like I do or have a warm vacation coming up, this is the dress you want. It’s so easy to throw on and go (my favorite kind of dress) and also makes a great swimsuit cover-up. Doesn’t this dress seem like it belongs on the beach? Clearly I was feeling the vacation vibes while taking photos in this outfit. It was unbearably hot that day so Becca and I grabbed a coconut at Juice Land to hydrate. Coconut water is an acquired taste but I guarantee it tastes better when you drink it straight out of the coconut! Most likely because I’m imagining myself enjoying it on a secluded beach somewhere… with rum in it… (I told you I was feeling the vacation vibes).

I paired the low back halter dress with my favorite flat sandals (they come in tons of colors and are under $20!) and this boater hat courtesy of Hats by Olivia. My jewelry was kept simple with this dainty turquoise layered necklace and gold cuff that I’m obsessed with it. I think I’ve worn the cuff every day since I’ve bought it. I tend to do that a lot but when you love something why not?
