Minty Fresh

Well I’ve about had it. We’ve had sleet, snow, rain and ice the last few days here in Dallas and I’m over it. There’s only so many episodes of House of Cards I can watch before getting a little stir crazy and wanting to get out of the house. It’s officially March and I am ready for spring! (If I’m being honest, I’m actually ready for summer but spring will do for now.)

The light colors in today’s look are a breath of fresh air and just a hint of what’s to come in spring fashion. The obvious pastels and florals are always a go-to spring trend but I am looking forward to wearing more neutral colored pieces like whites and tans and adding hints of color into the mix like I am in today’s look.

I love the mint color of this Gap sweater I found on major sale (only $8.99!) a few months ago (it was the same time I snagged this one for even less!). I knew I had to pair it with my crisp white jeans from Marshalls and nude suede pumps from Target. I have been loving hats lately so I threw on my floppy brim fedora from DSW to add another tan piece to the look. Throw on a few gold pieces of jewelry and matching mint sunglasses and you’re done!
