Perfect Poolside Cocktail Recipes with Candy’s Signature Cocktails

With a Dallas weather forecast of 104+ degree temps from now throughout the weekend, laying by the pool with an ice-cold beverage is probably on most people’s agendas. Lucky for you all, I have created two delicious and refreshing cocktails perfect for a day by the pool with the help of Candy’s Signature Cocktails! Candy’s Signature Cocktails is a new, high quality, ready-to-pour premium vodka infused with natural flavors. Candy’s launched the “Lemon Drop” infused with natural lemon flavors and the “Honey Bee” infused with natural heather honey and citrus flavors this year and is already making waves in the Spirits world.

Candy Smith, the creator of Candy’s Signature Cocktails, is based here in Dallas and has a passion for celebrating and empowering women. I knew when I met Candy at her launch party a few months ago at the House of Blues, she was someone I wanted to support. She has a wonderful energy about her and I love that she created something FOR women (#girlboss). She even has a toast to women on the back of her bottles that reads,

“Fall deeper in love.

Go higher in spirit.

Listen to your heart.

Respect your mind.

Let your dreams be endless.”

Beautiful, right? Not to mention, how adorable are these bottles? If I didn’t already know about Candy’s and how delicious it is, I would definitely grab this one at the liquor store because of how happy and fun the bottle looks (am I the only one who does that?)!

Let’s get to the cocktails…

When laying by the pool with your girlfriends getting your tan on, a refreshing cocktail is always in order. I created two cocktails (one with Honey Bee and one with Lemon Drop) based on what I enjoy drinking when I’m laying by the pool and they are super easy to make! Keep reading for my “Candy’s Honey Mule” and “Sweet Tea Lemon Drop” recipes!

Candy’s Honey Mule

Fill tall glass (or copper mug) with ice

Squeeze 2 lime wedges into glass

Add 1-2 shots of Candy’s Honey Bee

Fill remainder of glass with Ginger Beer

Garnish with fresh mint

Sweet Tea Lemon Drop

Fill glass with ice

Add 1-2 shots of Candy’s Lemon Drop

Fill remainder of glass with Sweet Tea

Garnish with lemon slice
