Happy Friday! I am so excited to share this gorgeous dress with you that I picked up during my most recent trip to Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom Rack is a store that I visit at least a couple of times a month (okay sometimes weekly…) because they are constantly getting in new pieces and always have great designer deals. You really never know when that designer dress you’ve had your eye on might get marked down to 80% off!
With the temperatures warming up here in Dallas, I’ve been keeping my eye out for lightweight dresses that I can take from spring to summer. After all, springtime in Dallas lasts about a second (it was 85 degrees yesterday!). This Melrose and Market floral print dress is the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe and at under $45, I couldn’t not get it. The vintage blossom-printed chiffon and flowy ruffled bottom gives the dress a feminine and flirty feel while the open-back (my favorite part of the dress!) adds an easygoing vibe with a hint of sexiness. I love the drawstring halter neckline because not only is it extremely flattering, you can adjust it to make it as tight or as loose as you want! This dress can be worn dressed up for an outdoor wedding or garden party, as well as worn casual with a pair of flat gladiator sandals to brunch with your girlfriends! Either way, this woven mini messenger bag with a chain shoulder strap will match!
I have been loving all things lace-up the last few months so when I spotted these Dolce Vita lace-up sandals almost 50% off, I could not get to the register fast enough. The suede gladiator style and silver studded detail added just the right amount of edge to this flowy, floral number. If it is still a little chilly where you live, toss on a suede moto jacket for an effortlessly cool look. Once it gets warmer, lose the jacket and throw on a wide brim fedora like I did for a more summery look! I was blown away by the number of affordable hats there were to choose from in store and online. Everyone needs a good hat going into summer so I picked a few of my favorites and linked them below!
I touched on this a little in Monday’s post where I shared a yellow Free People dress I scored 60% off during this same shopping trip, but Nordstrom Rack really is a bargain shopper’s dream come true. I have had the best luck finding pieces majorly marked down and the best part is, if you’re not big on doing a little digging in-store, their online selection has just as great of deals! My current shopping cart situation is borderline embarrassing but there are just so many great dresses online right now I can’t help myself! And when you score these great of deals you’re basically making money, right? I rounded up a few of my favorite dresses below so you’ll have to let me know which ones are your favorite!
