SUMMERTIME WITH BUD LIGHT LIME®

One of the things I love most about summertime is the longer days. Having the sun set after 8:00 here in Dallas every day means there is no need to wait for the weekend to get together with friends for a cold beer by the pool. It is hard enough to get through a work day when the sun is shining and the pool is calling your name, so I am making a point to make the most of my evenings and take advantage of these longer, sunnier days! Last week after work one day, my husband and I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and invite a few friends over to hang out by the pool. I picked up some hot dogs and hamburgers on the way home along with a couple cases of Bud Light Lime®. I have always been one to put a lime wedge in my Bud Light (seriously there is something about it that makes it that much more refreshing!) so being able to have the lime flavor already inside the bottle is a dream come true for me! Once everyone came over, it did not take but a second before we were twisting open our Bud Light Lime® bottles and dipping our toes in the pool. With the majority of us being ex-soccer players it is not unusual for us to break out the soccer ball whenever we’re together. This afternoon was, of course, no different and we inevitably ended up juggling in the yard and playing keep away from my pup Leo (who is an AMAZING defender by the way). I love get-togethers like these because before you know it, you realize the sun has set and six hours have passed and you are still sitting around laughing with your friends.
