Good Morning!
I am headed off to brace the craziness that is BeautyCon Dallas this morning but before I head out, I wanted to share this special spot with you!
A few weekends ago me and Taylor headed out to the country (Pilot Point, TX to be exact) to visit Texas-Tulips, the only tulip field in Texas. After a brief pit stop in Denton (I’ll share more on our adventures next week) and a calm and scenic hour drive, we arrived at Texas Tulips. There is something so peaceful about leaving the city and heading out to the country. The sky is always clearer and the world always seems a little quieter. When you pull up to the sea of color that is Texas Tulips, you will be amazed with its beauty. I was blown away by how each row of tulips was perfectly groomed and how many vibrant variations of colorful tulips there were. If you are looking to take a mini-road trip to the country, I highly recommend taking advantage of the nice weather and visit Texas Tulips. Plan your trip soon because they are only open through the end of March!
I am wearing a striped tank from T.J. Maxx, a black denim skirt from Sears (love this one and this one), and Kenneth Cole wedges which were also a T.J. Maxx purchase (love this pair, too!). In case you missed yesterday’s post, you can check that out right here. The striped palazzo pants from that post are too good (both in quality and price!).
Now wish me luck as I head off to BeautyCon! I hear it can be pretty intense so I’m hoping to visit a few brands and then head out! I’ll be snapping while I’m there so be sure to follow along to see all the madness (@thefashionhour). 🙂
Enjoy your weekend!!
