The 4 Black Boots you Need for Fall

Every year when fall rolls around we all break out our favorite sweaters and boots. Over the years I have learned that one or two pairs of boots in my closet does not suffice, especially pairs of black boots. There are too many potential outfit combinations and life occasions where you just need more than one black boot option. In today’s post I am breaking down the 4 black boots you need for fall. You may already have some in your closet or none at all, but these are the boots that will go with just about every outfit from now until spring! Be sure to scroll to the bottom for my full outfit details, too!

4 Black Boots You Need For Fall

The great thing about all of these boots is that you can get them at the same store, Nordstrom! I’ve said it before that Nordstrom is my go-to store for shoe shopping. There is an endless amount of options in every price point and I can always count on finding on-trend styles. Every pair of boots in this post is great quality, comfortable, and under $200!

The Knee-High

The knee-high boot might be the most classic boot of them all and will never go out of style. I love the suede pair I have on (identical ones here, too!) that can easily be worn with a sweater and leggings look like I have on or with a flirty dress. I linked a few options below and they’re all under $200!

The Over-the-Knee

Over-the-knee boots have become extremely popular over the last few years. What once was viewed as a little too risqué is now the norm (and I am all about it). I love the look of over-the-knee boots with everything from jeans to dresses. I love this suede pair by Franco Sarto that just went on MAJOR SALE! They come in 4 colors and are a shorter heel. If you only buy one pair of black over-the-knee boots, go for a chunkier heel. They will match more and I guarantee you’ll get more wear out of them because they’ll be more comfortable!

The Dressy Bootie

You may recognize this pair of booties from a recent post I did in red. They are by far my favorite pair of booties I’ve owned in a while. Not only do they look super chic, the heel is just the right height to be dressy enough for fancier outfits yet still comfortable to run around in.

The Casual Bootie

For the days you don’t want to get too dressed up, you need a casual bootie. I love this black suede block heel pair. Again the heel is not too high making them wearable for everyday style and I love the V-cut shaft. Definitely flattering when you want to show a little ankle!

As for my outfit I linked all of the pieces below. My color block sweater is only $45 and these faux leather leggings are worth every penny. They definitely help suck you in and smooth you out in all the right places (perfect for this new mama who gave birth a month ago!). Probably one of the cutest parts of my outfit is this faux fur pom scarf! I cannot get enough of these little pom poms and can’t believe this scarf is only $25. It would make such great gift as well that won’t break the bank!

So which pair of black boots is your favorite? Do you have all 4 pairs of black boots in your closet already or will you be adding more soon? Leave me a comment and let me know! As always if you have any questions feel free to reach out! Be sure to shop these items THIS WEEK because majority are on sale in anticipation for Black Friday but prices will go back up or they will sell out!
