Happy Monday! I am excited to share today’s post with you because it is packed with affordable fall fashion! This is the time of year where I tend to start purchasing fall pieces to add to my wardrobe and dream about how nice it will be to wear them once it’s not a thousand degrees outside… (it takes a minute to feel like fall in Dallas). But really, I found some amazing pieces that I have already been wearing on repeat and they are all from JCPenney. Since they are all great fall staples under $50 I decided to group them into one post so you could easily shop!
You know I am all about getting a good deal and that is something you will always find at JCPenney. I find myself shopping for myself and Mila there because they truly provide style and value for all. Not only are their prices reasonable to begin with, they are almost always having a sale or offering some sort of discount code! I think my favorite thing about shopping on their website is that when you go to your basket to check out (or just review the hundred things you added), you can click “FIND BEST COUPON” and it automatically applies the best available coupon for your order. Like whaaaat?! I am so used to googling discount codes, checking discount apps or looking for cards I got in the mail with discount codes that this feature really got my attention.
But let’s talk clothes now shall we? While I ordered several pieces from JCPenney, the items you see below are what I feel are must-have staples for your fall wardrobe. And I know I titled this post “Fall Staples Under $50”, but as of right now a lot of these pieces are on sale for around $15! Pretty amazing. 5 FALL STAPLES UNDER $50
#1 Button Down Thermal
This has to be THE most popular top for fall. It’s easy to throw on, comes in multiple colors, and can be styled multiple ways. I have this on-trend top in multiple colors and wear it around the house with joggers all the time. I am wearing a small but probably could have gone with an XS. With the current sale (and having over $100 in your cart) it brings the price to $14.80!
#2 Long Sleeve Henley
This long sleeve henley is another great fall staple to add to your wardrobe and a piece you’ll find yourself reaching for day after day. While it is easy to style with a pair of jeans and booties, I actually wear mine a lot with a pair of joggers (is it obvious I like joggers?). I also think a slim fitting top like this would look amazing with a pair of high-waisted jeans and heels for a girls night out! This top comes in EIGHT different colors and is currently on sale for $11.60! I’m wearing a small.
#3 Anorak Jacket
If you don’t already own an anorak/military jacket, it’s time to add one to your closet. This one in particular comes in olive green, a deep Burgundy and camo (very in this season). I’m wearing a small and love that it has draw strings on either side to tailor it your body. It’s currently on sale for $27.60 (you’ll see the full discount when you add it to your cart and apply the coupon!) and I’m wearing a small.
#4 Basic Long Sleeve Pocket Tee
I live in t-shirts and am always buying new ones throughout the year. I think it’s important to have basic colors like white, black and grey tees to throw on with jeans and style with different jackets. This long sleeve pocket tee in particular comes in TEN colors and is marked down to $8.80! I’m wearing a small.
#5 Plaid Button Down
I have a small addiction to buying plaid button downs. It’s not as bad as my addiction to buying white tees and grey sweaters but it’s up there. A plaid shirt like this one tied around your waist can make a simple jeans and tee outfit look much more “fall” and you can easily throw it on when temperatures drop. I’m wearing a small.
While I didn’t make it one of my fall staples, I’m wearing this pair of skinny jeans in all of the photos above. I wish I would have sized down so keep that in mind if you’re thinking about getting them. They come in a few different washes too!
