Basics + Floppy Brim Fedora

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope everyone is having a great week! This warm weather we’re having in Dallas has put me in such a great mood and is getting me excited for my trip to Miami coming up! I am definitely looking forward to being by the beach and soaking up some sun with a mojito in my hand. I will be sharing photos on my INSTAGRAM and will eventually share a post recapping the trip. My goal is to start sharing more travel related posts that include location highlights and of course, all of the good deals I find along the way!

  

Today I am sharing an outfit that is incredibly easy to recreate. It is all about having a simple base and adding a few key pieces to create the look. I am wearing a plain white tee with stretch, skinny jeans as my base. Your options are truly endless with how you accessorize jeans and a tee. Since I was going for a more casual vibe, I added an oversized cable knit sweater, floppy brim fedora hat, and pair of suede over-the-knee boots. I threw on a mint cable knit infinity scarf for a subtle pop of color. I also just love the way tan and light shades of blue and green look together! I didn’t want to over accessorize with too much jewelry so I wore my Rebecca Minkoff gold necklace from T.J. Maxx (it was only $9.99 and retails for $78!). Anytime I wear this floppy brim fedora (it’s identical to this Rag & Bone one except NOT $195), I try to keep my outfit very simple as to not look fussy or overdone.
