There is something about an all black outfit that screams chic to me. Whether it’s a simple black dress, black skinny jeans and a black blazer, or a black skirt and tank like I am wearing here, black on black will always be in style. I got this Express miniskirt on sale a few months ago when they had an extra 40% off their sale items. I am loving the flared and pleated miniskirt looks and know it will be easy to transition this piece to fall and winter once cooler weather rolls around (it’s still in the 70’s here in Texas!). Even though the first day of Fall was over a month ago, the sunny weather allowed me to get away with pairing my flared skirt with a simple black tank I picked up at Versona Accessories earlier this week. To complete the look I added a three strand chain necklace I bought from an online boutique, my tortoise-shell Anne Klein watch and Nine West suede pumps.
