Casual Striped Dress

Happy Friday!

I am excited to get through this work day because this evening my husband and I are checking into a Dallas hotel for a little “staycation” that I will be recapping on here next week! The white and mocha casual striped dress I’m wearing today is from Sincerely Mary and it is one of those dresses that you will always be grabbing out of your closet no matter where you’re running off to. I’ve worn it to happy hour, to lunch with family, to run errands… it’s just one of those dresses that is so easy to throw on and go (you know I love those kinds of pieces and you know I love stripes!)! The boat neck and cinched elastic waist is flattering on all body types AND it has pockets! It really doesn’t get much better.

I paired this “Brooklyn” dress with my favorite chunky knit scarf, over-the-knee boots, and an old trench coat I’ve had for years (this one‘s identical and under $100!). The weather has been all over the place in Dallas lately so I’ve been keeping this rain coat in my car along with my heavier camel coat you may have seen earlier this week here!
