Chic at Every Age: Casual White Dress with J. Jill

Spring is in full swing and summer is not far away which means bring on the white dresses and straw bags! In today’s Chic at Every Age post, me and the girls are showing you four ways to style a casual white dress from J. Jill!

A little white dress is the ultimate warm weather staple but having one that you can actually wear multiple ways is even better! What I love most about this casual white dress is that you truly can dress it up or down. There is beautiful embroidery at the top of the dress and along the hemline and a drawstring waist with the cutest tassel detail. I wore my dress loose for a casual look but could tighten the drawstring for a cinched waist look too! The cotton material is very comfortable to wear all day and great for this hot summer we have ahead of us!

Pieces like this are so fun to style because you really can do anything with it. I love a classic casual look so I paired my little white dress with a classic army jacket tied around my waist and go-to pair of wedges. I think a pair of white sneakers would have looked really cute with this outfit as well for those days you want to look stylish while running errands or meeting a friend for coffee! For a more dressed up look, ditch the jacket and cinch the drawstring then add some fun earrings and you’re good to go! *If it’s still chilly where you live, drape a Moto jacket over your shoulders for an ultra-chic look.

My favorite part of this outfit is the accessories! I mean how cute is this straw bag?! You can wear it on your shoulder or across your body. It is under $50 and lined with the prettiest floral pattern. I am also obsessed with this bag that I’m pretty sure I need for my beach vacation! My straw fedora hat is also under $50 and has a pretty ribbon trim. You guys know I love my hats so I was loving Heather and Sam’s fringed fedora, too!
