Happy Friday! It’s a gloomy morning here in Dallas and I am loving it! We had a “cold front” yesterday (78 degrees lol) so it’s basically winter. It’s so funny how the slightest change in the air and temperature immediately made me get into fall mode! I popped by Homegoods and Home Depot to grab some new fall decor and mums for the front doorstep and plan on making my way to Target and Trader Joe’s for more fall decor and pumpkins! I busted out some of the fall decor I had from last year and am currently burning a pumpkin spice candle while I write this. ? I’m not big on pumpkin spice lattes but I do love myself a good pumpkin candle! But enough about fall decor, let’s talk about this textured long sleeve dress we’re styling 4 different ways!
me / Style of Sam / So Heather / The Middle Page
To be completely honest with you, I wasn’t crazy about this textured long sleeve dress. For me personally the boob area seemed a little saggy but I thought it looked so good on the rest of the girls! If you have more going on in the chest area than I do then this dress would probably look amazing on you! It is definitely a dress you can dress up or down and would also be appropriate for a wedding. Since I wasn’t crazy about the top, I layered a sweater over it (which y’all know I love to do with dresses anyway!) and added a hat and pair of booties for a more casual fall look!
I love the look of flowy skirts with a sweater over them so I recommend giving that style a try with pieces you may already have in your closet! It’s an easy way to get more out of your wardrobe and you may be surprised with how much you like it! If you’re in need of a lightweight sweater the one I have on comes in a few colors and is currently on sale! I picked up these booties during the Nordstrom Sale and love them. Definitely my most worn and most comfortable pair!

Do you have anything exciting planned for the weekend? Now that it’s not triple digit weather I’m hoping to do a few things with Mila outside! That also has me thinking about doing a fall bucket list… I feel like time flies by and I don’t end up doing a lot of the seasonal activities I’d like to with Mila so I might put one together! Have you ever done one of those before? I appreciate any tips or ideas you have!! Anyway, hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks for reading!
