Happy Friday! Today’s post is all about a trend I love: graphic tees! Graphic tees come in all shapes and sizes and there is an abundance of options available out there to suit your style. Me and the girls from Chic at Every Age are styling our favorite graphic tees in today’s post and as you’ll see, they’re all different!

When I think about wearing a graphic tee or any sort of “band” tee, it takes me back to high school (maybe even middle school). I LOVED going to concerts and was such a little band-aid. Not a groupie… big difference! I had several friends in bands so I would always go to their shows (I was so cool) and even went to Lollapalooza when I was only 14 (the first big festival I went to that led to many more concerts). Wearing some sort of band tee was definitely the cool thing to wear. I was always either trying to find old t-shirts from my mom’s dresser or wearing one from Urban Outfitters. History really does repeat itself with fashion and it is definitely true when it comes to graphic tees.
My graphic tee is from American Eagle and only $25! They have a huge selection online and I love the cutout detail on this one. I would recommend sizing up. I think it looks cuter when graphic tees are a little looser. I tucked mine into a black denim mini skirt but you can wear graphic tees with literally anything: jeans, a skirt, denim shorts, dressy trousers, under a slip dress… you really do have endless options and I love combining a casual tee with a dressier piece! You can shop my favorite graphic tees below and head to the rest of the Chic at Every Age girls’ blogs for details on their looks!
My look today would be perfect for running around Austin this weekend for SXSW. For those of you taking off to Austin for SXSW this weekend:
- I’m jealous. I love being in Austin during SXSW and always have so much fun so I’m bummed to have to miss it this year!
- Check out some of my Austin posts below for a few ideas of places to visit!
I do like the looser fitting of t-shirt. Love the way you styled with black denim!
