Chic at Every Age: How to Style Leopard Pumps

What a week, y’all! Me and Mila and my mom got in late last night from a 3-day trip to Miami. Not only was this very exciting because this was Mila’s FIRST FLIGHT (she did awesome and slept the whole time – hallelujah!), but me and the Chic at Every Age girls were actually there for work! You may have seen some behind the scenes on Instagram that I shared of us on set. We had the honor of working with Soma intimates on a special photoshoot and campaign that will be coming out next year! We are all so excited about it and can’t wait to share exactly what we were up to with Soma. It doesn’t come out until April so don’t hold your breath, but we promise to share more as soon as we can! 🙂 I’ll also be sharing some tips for flying with a newborn that I learned from this trip soon!

As for today’s post, it is all about how to style leopard pumps. I have not always been a big leopard person. I always thought it was a little too much and not me. Over the years as my style has evolved (and honestly I think the cuteness of leopard pieces that have come out…) I have been more attracted to leopard and realized it can be worn as a neutral. It may sound a little weird to think of leopard as a neutral but think about it… you can wear it with just about any color and it won’t clash! It also looks great when mixed with other prints like stripes or plaid. Ever since purchasing the affordable pair of leopard pumps I’m wearing in these photos (on sale for $55!!), I can’t seem to stop! Every time I’ve worn jeans lately I think I’ve worn these leopard pumps! I loved how they looked with this statement sleeve red sweater – festive but stylish. 🙂

I kept my look super simple and casual with this off the shoulder cable knit sweater and pair of boyfriend jeans. Believe it or not my sweater is from Forever 21 so you know it’s a great deal. My black jeans are from the Something Navy x Nordstrom collaboration. They’re more of a “mom jean” and fit high-waisted. I think they’re really comfortable but because I’m not very tall I probably wouldn’t wear them with flats. They might make you look shorter than you really are but with heels I love them! My beanie is from Amazon and it came with a matching mini one for Mila. So cheap in price but the quality is great!
