Classy Lace Midi Dress

I have been dying to post this lace midi dress! It has been out of stock basically since I purchased it. Thankfully it came back in stock today in most sizes so I wanted to make sure I shared it with you as soon as possible. It is so frustrating seeing something you like and not being able to get it! But now that should not be an issue. 🙂

Lace Midi Dress Details

I fell in love with the color and detail of this dress immediately. It is not your typical lace dress. This lace midi dress is made up of intricate detailing with a nude lining. The high neckline adds to the already elegant and classy feel of the piece. I am such a sucker for necklines like this and the detail around the bust made it that much prettier! You can imagine how excited I was that the dress actually fit my bump! The waist is elastic and has a tie that wraps around. Waists like this are always flattering and the elastic allows you to adjust it to what is most comfortable for you.

I paired the lace midi dress with the wedges I have been wearing all summer. With a beautiful piece like this I would recommend keeping everything else simple and neutral. A pair of nude pointy toe pumps would also look beautiful and work-appropriate! I have my eye on this pair since I haven’t replaced the ones Leo chewed on forever ago… as for my bag, I wish it was mine! My sweet friend Sam let me borrow it when I realized I had forgotten a bag to wear with this dress. Isn’t it gorgeous?! I would love to own a classic Gucci bag like this one day. At this point, I just can’t bring myself to pull the trigger on such a big purchase. But my birthday is next week… pretty sure Ita would pass out if I purchased a bag a fraction of this price lol. I think this dress runs a little on the big side so I would size down. By the way I am officially 30 weeks pregnant today! 30! Not sure when that happened but my due date is getting closer and closer and I can’t believe it!
