Coffee Shop Love: Magnolias Dallas

Happy New Year, friend! I hope 2017 is treating you well so far. Did you make any resolutions? I didn’t really make any resolutions but I did create a list of goals I want to accomplish both personally and professionally. I’m going to keep them to myself for now but I promise to share a few in the coming weeks!

Ita and I went to this coffee shop in Grapevine to brainstorm some ideas and talk about what we want to accomplish this year. It may sound cheesy but I think it’s really healthy to discuss these kinds of things with your spouse. Whether it be your significant other, a best friend, a parent… I think having someone to share this kind of information with that supports you and can help hold you accountable is so helpful in accomplishing those goals.

Another crucial piece to accomplishing goals: coffee. Just me? At least a few cups of coffee are a must for me every morning and I usually drink more in the afternoon. When I get the chance I ditch the Starbucks (although I do love the seasonal Salted Caramel Mocha…) and head to a local coffee shop. So many wonderful spots have popped up over the last few years here in Dallas and it seems like the local coffee shop scene has finally come to life.

In this “Coffee Shop Love” series I’ll be sharing a peek into some of my favorite Dallas/Fort Worth coffee houses. You can see one of my favorite non-Dallas spots (it’s in Grapevine) here and a pretty epic encounter I had at Weekend Coffee here. As for today’s post this was shot at Magnolias Dallas in the Harwood District. This quiet and cozy spot has a beautiful interior but an even cuter exterior featuring this bright turquoise-painted wall, marble tables and classic woven chairs. Definitely a beautiful backdrop for an insta-worthy photo while you enjoy your mocha.
