All white looks have been a major trend for spring this year. I think any time you wear a monochromatic look no matter the color, it instantly looks chic and put together. I picked up this crisp white dress from Zara a while back on major sale (it was originally $89.90 and I paid $19.99!). The neckline is my favorite part of this dress and reminded me of the pale blue dress Naomi Watts wore to Calvin Klein’s fashion show earlier this year. Doesn’t she just always looks so effortlessly chic?
With a beautiful dress like this I wanted to keep accessories to a bare minimum. No earrings. No necklace. Just a simple tortoise-shell and gold watch, simple white purse with gold detail, and my new favorite pair of heels. These peep toe booties are from DSW and cost a fraction of the retail price (don’t you just love their clearance section?). I love the side zipper detail and the chunky heel makes these shoes fashionable AND comfortable.
This simple, shift dress was perfect to wear for Easter Sunday last week. My family and I went to Bishop Arts District to eat brunch at Tillman’s and walk around the area. If you’ve never been to that area before I highly recommend it! There are so many great restaurants to eat at and unique shops to check out. This is also where my husband and I took some of our engagement pictures so every time we’re in the area we have to reenact one! It just so happened that Easter Sunday was the day before our 2 year anniversary so walking around the area definitely made it extra special. <3
Dress: Zara $19.99 (Retails at $89.90!!) // Purse: Forever 21 (gift from Mom) // Watch: Macy’s (Anne Klein) // Shoes: DSW $40 (Retails at $110!! Check clearance section!) // Nail Polish: Essie “Mint Candy Apple”

You’re right: monochromatic looks so chic! I need to remember this because I always tend to mix bright patterns. That neckline is amazing! And I love the little pocket flaps.
