Eat Drink & Be Merry!

I can’t believe Christmas is around the corner! I still haven’t finished all of my shopping! This time next week I will be celebrating Christmas Eve with a delicious Cuban feast at my parents house. Every Christmas Eve all of our family gets together to exchange presents and enjoy a traditional Cuban dinner of pork, black beans and rice, plantains, tostones, yucca, pastelitos, etc. prepared by my mom and maybe a mojito or glass of sangria too! Just like this Katydid Holiday tee says, it truly is a time to “Eat, Drink and Be Merry“!

Since Christmas Eve is a dressy occasion for my family and Christmas Day we usually stay in our pajamas, I decided to show two ways to style this Katydid Holiday Collection tee!

1. The first look I layered the black and white tee over a long-sleeved, button up dress and paired with knee-high, black suede boots. I added some silver and crystal accessories and a red lip to glam it up a bit!
2. The second look will be what you can find me wearing Christmas Day! My husband and I spend the night at my parents where we stay in our pajamas and drink hot chocolate, eat homemade cinnamon rolls, and open presents. This pair of Forever 21 joggers with leather and zipper detail are so comfortable and definitely wearable in public!
