I hope you’ve been having a great week! Mine has been pretty rough. I caught a nasty sinus infection and strep throat that turned into a rash all over my face. To top it all off I guess I had a bad reaction to the medicine I was originally prescribed and couldn’t stop throwing up. SO, that’s been fun. It could always be worse and I’m feeling a little better today so I’m praying it all goes away soon.
Do you feel like you get sick at the absolute worst times? Because I definitely do. Not that it is ever a convenient time to get sick, but I had an especially busy work week scheduled and I was supposed to do a TV segment early this morning with the girls of Chic at Every Age that I had to miss. Plus the rewardStyle conference starts tonight and I’m going to be missing the first party. If you don’t know what the rewardStyle conference is, check out this post. It’s basically a big blogger conference held here in Dallas that lasts from Thursday night to Saturday night. It is jam-packed with seminars, brand meetings, classes and parties. I loved attending last year and was really looking forward to this year’s conference. When you need to be on your A-game and have a schedule that goes from 8am-9pm (not to mention you want to look somewhat presentable), it’s not exactly the ideal time to be feeling like compete crap. But again, it could always be worse.
You may recognize this backdrop from a recent post I did on this beautiful royal blue dress and where I told you about the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. If you missed it, you can read all about it HERE! I just adore this wall mural that Alli K. created and I have a feeling even more photos will be snapped there this weekend during the conference!
This light blue off the shoulder shift dress is such a great option for a spring or summer wedding or just throwing on with a hat and pair of sandals. It is light and flowy and I just love the color. I am wearing a medium but wish I would have ordered a small. I think the small was sold out when I ordered it. I still think the medium works and if you like to cinch things at your waist you could always add a cute belt to give it a different look. I paired the off the shoulder shift dress with the most adorable pair of wedges that come in FOUR COLORS. The perforated detail on these lace up bootie-like wedges is gorgeous and worth the price tag (they are more comfortable than they look!).
What do you think of this off the shoulder shift dress? Something you could see yourself wearing? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Thanks for reading!
