Well I think Iâve peaked. I donât think Iâll have a nicer travel experience than what I experienced at Casa Koko in Punta Mita. From the villa itself to the location, the food, the staff⦠everything was beyond. I feel so lucky to of gotten the opportunity to stay there for a few days with some of my closest friends and am so grateful for Rejane with the R-List for coordinating the entire trip for us! Every bit of the trip was planned out by her and it could not have been more perfect.
Here is a recap of our stay along with a breakdown of every outfit I wore on the trip!
Our Stay at Casa Koko
FRIDAY
Me and the girls flew into Puerto Vallarta then hopped on a shuttle provided by Casa Koko to Punta Mita which was about an hour drive. I was amazed at how secure Punta Mita was. We went through several security checkpoints before getting to Casa Koko. The Punta Mita community is full of villas and a few resorts and I felt so safe everywhere we went.
When we arrived to Casa Koko we were greeted by the entire staff waiting for us with fresh margaritas (the best one I think Iâve ver hadâ¦) and ready to give us a tour of our new home for the next few days.
Casa Koko is a 9-suite private oceanfront villa that can accommodate up to 22 guests (18 adults and 4 children). It is fully staffed with concierge, a house manager, private chef, waiters, maids and a driver. Luigi and the entire staff there made us feel so welcome and took care of anything and everything we needed! There is an in-house spa and gym, infinity pool overlooking the ocean (my favorite) and access to any activity you want like surfing, yoga, etc. and access to all of the Punta Mita beach clubs! I will say I wouldnât come here with Mila at the age she is now. With all of the little bridges and stone pathways I could see her tripping or falling right and left. If coming here with kids I would wait until theyâre a few years old at least!
We had dinner prepared for us that night on the patio – steak, shrimp, lobster, ribs⦠it was amazing!
SATURDAY
I woke up early and had coffee outside overlooking the ocean. One of my favorite parts of the trip was just sitting out there enjoying the view. The sunsets were out of this world!
We started our day with the chef preparing a breakfast buffet for us (unbelievably good and they can make whatever you want!). We then headed out on a couple of golf carts (how you get around in Punta Mita which was so awesome) to go sailing with Vallarta Adventures. Alejandro and Carlitos were amazing and made our sailing experience so much fun! I did feel a little woozy when I first got on the boat (sailing in the ocean is no joke) but thankfully felt better after a cerveza. We spent a few hours out on the boat then headed to the Kupuri Beach Club.
The Kupuri Beach Club is stunning and has an incredible beach. Beautiful white sand and blue water with mountains as a backdrop. We hung out there for a while and ate delicious sushi and snacks then did a pretty special experience. Punta Mita had a shaman come and we had this whole ceremony on the beach. She âreadâ each of us individually then we went through this whole detoxing mud ritual right there on the beach. It lasted about 2 hours (there were about 10 of us that did it) and we all really enjoyed it. I was pretty shocked that a lot of what she said to me was spot on⦠she said different things to all of us but most of them were really accurate. One of the things she told me was that I try to be everywhere all the time and that I need to be more grounded⦠and that I need to make more decisions with my gut and not my head. If you know me at all then you know this is spot on lol I was pretty taken aback by it and am working on making changes based on what she saidâ¦
Once we rinsed all the mud off we headed back to Casa Koko and watched the sun set in the pool. For me it doesnât feel more like vacation than watching a sunset over the ocean from an infinity pool⦠we quickly got dressed after the sun set and headed to dinner at the St. Regis beach club.
SUNDAY
We woke up to another beautiful sunrise by the pool and breakfast al fresco. After snapping a few photos that morning we put on our swimsuits and spent the day by the pool. They blew up several giant pool floats for us and the strawberry mojitos and spicy margaritas didnât stop⦠if you followed along on Instagram Stories you know we all had a lot of fun this day. 🙂 The lunch they brought out to us was yet again amazing⦠fresh sushi, ceviche, guacomole and chips⦠We were all in heaven.
That night we were told to dress in white for a special dinner on the patio at Casa Koko. Me and Lynlee didnât want to get out of the pool that day and I think got ready in less than 10 minutes (pretty impressive if you ask me). The white dress I wore might be one of my favorite dresses ever!
Dinner was not only delicious but beautiful. There were white flowers and petals all over the table⦠flowers in our salad and dessert⦠they prepared a filet over truffle risotto and I definitely licked the plate clean. That dinner was actually really special because of the conversation. It went from joking around like usual to talking about our goals in life and what we love about each person there. It might sound cheesy but it was so special!
After dinner we changed into comfier clothes and headed down to the fire pit below the pool. We drank wine and roasted marshmallows and it was the perfect way to end our stay at Casa Koko.
MONDAY
The next morning we said goodbye to Casa Koko and the incredible staff. We are so grateful to each of them for making our experience so special. I truly hope I am able to go back with my family one day so they can experience this incredible place!
