Brr! I just got back from Miami where I was laying on the beach and wearing maxi dresses and now I’m back to lousy, freezing weather here in Dallas! (Ok so maybe it’s not “technically” freezing but it’s cold!) Miami was wonderful and I plan on sharing some highlights from the trip in an upcoming blog post but today is all about this coat! I have had this coat for a couple of years now and still love it just as much. I alternate between this one and a black peacoat throughout winter. I will never forget when I found this coat while shopping with my mom one day. We were at Macy’s browsing through the clearance rack and BAM! There it was. A beautiful, light blue and tan plaid coat 85% OFF bringing the total to a whopping $13.35! I have yet to find another deal this good on outerwear. I probably won’t find another deal this good but you know I’ll try!!
