Alright. So it’s been too long since my last post. So not cool, I know! Time to play catch up and get you up to speed on what’s been going on the last two weeks!
After the Bud Light happy hour at The Rustic (which was a blast and very successful – thank you to everyone who came!), I headed to Houston for a work trip. Once I got back it was nonstop at work and then it was party after party as soon as I got done with work!
The Best of Big D party was a blast and I was so glad I could take my mom and my brother who was in town with me to enjoy it. I received tons of compliments on this dress from Vici Dolls I wore that is only $52 (get it HERE)! The next night my husband and I attended a party at The Joule hotel then headed to the Bud Light Party Convention at Klyde Warren Park where we saw Jason Derulo and had a blast! Not someone I’d ever pay to go see but we did enjoy yelling, “Jasonnn Derulooo” over and over.
My husband and I were supposed to head to New Orleans this recent weekend to celebrate my birthday (which was yesterday) so I could continue my streak of being on vacation for my birthday (the last three were Spain, Vegas, Tel Aviv…). Unfortunately the weather had other plans because there was record-breaking rain fall and the forecast didn’t show any sign of it letting up anytime soon so we decided to cancel the trip. Kind of a bummer but I still had a great birthday! I got to spend the weekend with my family and my husband took me out last night for drinks and a little bowling at Bowl & Barrel after work.
So now that I’ve got you up to speed, how about I share some details on this look? I received this stunning black jumpsuit from Black Halo and I am in love! The quality is incredible and I love how the cut of it elongates the body. Call me crazy but I really do feel like this jumpsuit makes me look taller. The pants are a little on the long side so depending on your height you may need to hem them (I’m 5’5″ and definitely need to hem them!). This jumpsuit is definitely on the pricier side but I do think it is a piece that would never go out of style and that you could have in your closet for years to come.
With something as sleek as this black jumpsuit I prefer to keep accessories minimal. I went with a black leather choker (love this one and this one), simple black heels from Express, and my new bag thanks to Henri Bendel. Here are a few more photos for a better look at this stunning jumpsuit!
So sorry again for the lack of posts! I have a lot of new content hitting the blog soon!
Thank you for reading!
