Spring Wedding Guest Dress with Adrianna Papell -

It’s already May which means those wedding invitations will begin hitting your mailbox in no time. Finding something to wear can be overwhelming but I’ve got you covered in today’s post with the perfect spring wedding guest dress!

I’ve always been a big believer in keeping it classic when it comes to wedding guest attire and not wearing anything too loud. You obviously NEVER want to wear white (or anything remotely close to white…) and I usually stay away from super bright colors. When I saw this off the shoulder, floral print Adrianna Papell dress while shopping on Zappos, I knew this would make the perfect spring wedding guest dress!

It’s on trend with its off the shoulder cut, ruffle detail and side slit but still classic and subtle with its floral print and navy color. More than that I feel good in it which I think is so important especially at a wedding (no one wants to be self-conscious on the dance floor).

The side slit detail is very flattering and moves beautifully. It was pretty windy when I took these photos so I can tell you that you don’t need to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions because the slit only comes up to around the knee (no one wants to be walking to their seat at an outdoor wedding and accidentally flash the crowd! Could you imagine?! Ha!).

The great thing about this dress is that while it’s perfect for weddings, you could easily wear it for other occasions! A pair of wedges or nice flats and a Panama hat would dress it down for brunch with the girls and you could also wear this dress differently all together… just take your arm out of one of the off the shoulder sleeves and pull the other one a little higher and you now have yourself a one-shoulder dress!
