As every season change approaches (which in Texas that usually means from really hot to bearably hot), we all break out that box of sweaters we stored away or rush to the mall to fill our closets with the newest fall styles. While it’s still in the 90’s here in Dallas, you can imagine I am not quite ready to say goodbye to my summer wardrobe. Maxi dresses in particular. Maxi dresses are one of my favorite things to wear because they are simple, comfortable, and can be styled numerous ways. And what better way to style a maxi than adding some layers so you can wear it into the fall season! Today I am wearing a dress from H&M I bought last year for $10 but have worn about fifty times since (I’m not exaggerating. I have worn this dress A LOT!). This is a perfect example of a simple dress you can take and add layers to transition to fall. I added an unbuttoned denim shirt and peep toe booties but as temperatures drop you will see me layering dresses with scarves, sweaters, jackets, and coats!

First off, wow that dress looks amazing on you and how it hugs your curves so well, and I love the simplicity of it, not being too flashy or anything. I have a dress similar to that one that is soooo soft and comfy but I haven’t been able to wear it in public that much sadly. The problem is that my underwear line is always really visible when I wear it, and I cant seem to find a good solution. My butt is really soft and squishy and nowhere near firm enough to prevent even my seamless undies from indenting across my cheeks. I know that the line is distracting for not only others that I catch looking but also for me, not only being self conscious of it but also rubbing/trying to adjust the elastic down lower without having to step into a restroom to pull them down under my cheeks. I would wear a thong but I cant let my buns just jiggle around without any support. I need to find any good no show underwear that doesn’t dig in but supports and firms up the butt and won’t show under a clingy dress like that.
