A good pair of denim is a must for any wardrobe but another must-have piece for fall is a twist front sweater. You probably saw a lot of these last year (you may already own one!) and I have already seen a few for this season. A sweater is a given for fall but the added design of a twist or knot definitely kicks the style factor up a notch!
I scored this twist front sweater during the Nordstrom Sale a month or two ago in both coral and cream. Both colors are still available in just about every size and under $50. The cream color is classic but I thought the coral was so pretty and a nice pop of color in my usually neutral wardrobe. I would go with your normal size (I’m wearing a small).
This pair of denim was another hot item from the Nordstrom sale that sold out EXTREMELY fast. I love a pair of ripped denim and I especially loved the hem on these and the color. They are back in stock in a few sizes but more than likely will sell out again soon. I found this pair at another retailer but again, they’re almost sold out. It says on the website to size up, but I personally went down one size in these jeans.
These Marc Fisher sandals aren’t cheap ($159 but I got them on sale – again Nordstrom sale find…) but I’m kind of obsessed with them. I love a chunky heel (I think they’re the most comfortable) and I just love how they wrap around with the buckle. I’m wearing the taupe but I love the two other colors they come in as well. It takes a while to get cold here in Dallas so these are a great fall shoe option when you want to wear sweaters but aren’t quite ready to pull on a pair of boots!
By the way my necklace is only $28 and looks like 3 necklaces in one! I know a lot of you are into the layered necklace look like I am so this is a great way to pull that look off without having to buy multiple necklaces (or deal with getting them tangled). 🙂
