Two Ways to Style: The Tie Neck Blouse

The long Labor Day weekend is coming to an end and all I can think about is how I need another day…

Ita and I spent a couple of nights at the Hilton Anatole for his birthday and had the BEST time. We spent the majority of it at the new Jade Waters pool (more like a water park!) and did not want to leave. I’ll have a dedicated post on that soon because it is a place you will definitely want to visit! Other than that we did the usual Labor Day weekend barbecue with friends and now I am frantically trying to get my life in order before I head to New York for Fashion Week! Surprisingly my schedule is jam-packed so I’m hoping I’ll still be able to hit up some great restaurants while I’m there (because, food). I imagine I’ll be posting to Instagram (@natalie_keinan) and my Insta-stories more than usual (and possibly Snapchat @thefashionhour – still can’t commit to one or the other) so definitely keep up with me on there!

Two Ways to Style the Tie Neck Blouse

But enough chit-chat, let’s dive into these looks. I fell in love with this tie neck blouse and decided to share with you two ways to wear it. The tie neck blouse is a very popular look right now and I love that there are so many different ways to wear it! Draped, tied in a bow, wrapped around the neck, not tied at all… you really do have a lot of options. In the two outfits I’m sharing today, I styled the tie neck blouse in what I feel is the classic way, loosely knotted in the front, and then I styled it in a bit more fashion-forward, trendier way, wrapped around the neck and tied in a bow in the back. THE CLASSIC

Loosely tied in a knot for an effortless and classy vibe.

I paired the light pink and white print blouse with crisp white jeans, a gorgeous bag, and the CUTEST lace up heels! I added this gold mesh choker to balance the feminine with a bit of edge. My favorite part of this look has to be the heels. How adorable are the little tassels on the ends?! I love a good lace-up heel and this nude suede pair is from the Christian Siriano for Payless line and only $34.99! FASHION-FORWARD

I love this look because it has a more bohemian feel to it. I paired the tie neck blouse with a button up white skirt, ankle booties, hat, and grey purse that was sent to me by Danielle Nicole. This white denim skirt was such a great purchase from Nordstrom Rack but it unfortunately sold out. I found an identical version of the skirt HERE also at a great price and on sale! I have to mention another standout piece of both of these outfits, this drusy stone double ring by Kendra Scott. This ring is borderline brass knuckles in the most gorgeous of ways. I get so many compliments when I wear it. Now that Kendra Scott came out with nail polish, you could totally match the stones in your jewelry to your nails! Genius.
