ZARA Discovery

While in Miami last month for a wedding, my husband and I had a couple days to enjoy ourselves and explore South Beach (stay tuned for details in an upcoming post). One afternoon we decided to walk from our hotel to Lincoln Road where there are countless outdoor shops, cafes, and restaurants. Me being the kind and thoughtful wife that I am refrained from going into any stores to try on clothes (my suitcase barely met the weight limit as it is so I really couldn’t afford to add anything). We walked around for a couple of hours. Beer here. Coffee and macaron there. On our way out my husband ran to the restroom and I waited outside. Enter ZARA. ZARA just so happen to be next to the restroom he was at and also just so happened to be having a HUGE SALE. It was at that point that he lost me and these beautiful navy, zippered trousers I’m wearing today found me. These regularly $79 pants jumped off the racks into my possession (along with a few other items) for a mere $15.99.

I paired the trousers with another ZARA piece that I’ve had for years- a white cutout tank. The tank is a little low cut so I added my layered white beaded necklace from ILY Couture to give some coverage while still keeping a neutral look. One of my favorite items I’m wearing today are these crystal chandelier ear jackets from Royal Bowtique! They are so dainty and delicate but the fact that they are an ear jacket adds a little edge (and it’s so on-trend!).
