When I think about the desert, one of the first things that comes to my mind (other than adorable cacti) is how dry it is! Spending several days in Palm Springs made me realize just how dry it can be and how different it is from the weather here in Dallas.
I tend to get dry skin already and one of the first areas I always notice is my hands. I’ve been noticing it a lot more lately and I think it has to do with the fact that I’m pregnant. I find myself washing my hands ALL THE TIME to prevent myself from getting sick therefore causing me to have even drier hands than usual.
Thankfully miracle products like L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream exist that I can use every day to keep my hands hydrated and smooth. This hand cream is one of their best-selling products and with good reason! It’s made with 20% Shea Butter and other natural ingredients like honey, almond extracts and coconut oil (I’m a huge fan of using coconut oil for everything!). I love how thick and creamy it is because I feel like it is actually getting the job done when I apply it. Every time I apply it my hands feel instantly nourished and the smell is amazing. It’s no surprise L’Occitane sells one of their Shea Butter hand creams every 3 seconds around the world!
L’Occitane has travel size versions of the Shea Butter Hand Cream for only $12 but I carried the 5.4 ounce around in my purses throughout the trip (you never know when your girlfriends may want to use some, too!) that costs $28. I have used L’Occitane hand creams sparingly throughout my life but I’ve really made them part of my daily routine these last few months. I’ve been applying it in the morning before work and at night before I go to bed. I encourage you to grab your own so you can see how amazing this product really is! L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Creams are available at Sephora or you can order it online HERE.
Have you tried this shea butter hand cream before? Use it regularly? Leave me a comment and let me know! Check out one of my other posts with L’Occitane and their lavender set here!
