4 Places to Wear Black Crepe Pants

Happy Friday from the happiest place on earth! This blog post is coming to you from Orlando after the best day ever at Disney World! We’re currently poolside recovering from 11 hours of nonstop fun (and walking…) and wishing we didn’t have to leave tomorrow. In today’s post I’m sharing four ways to style and places to wear black crepe pants because I don’t know about you guys, but the older I get the more I try to make the most out of my closet. When I buy a new piece I try to think about the different ways I could style it and make sure it is something that will get worn more than once. As someone who spent almost nine years in Corporate America, a pair of black pants is definitely something that got worn on repeat. I thought it would be fun to share a few different ways to style this new pair of black crepe pants I got from Nordstrom and places to wear them (not just the office)! 

Sizing: Size DOWN in these pants. They run big and I’m wearing an XS.

I love a classic black pant but I always get drawn to cropped ones or culottes! I couldn’t resist this high-waisted pair from Leith with buttons and a slit down one side. Not only are they great for the office, there are so many other occasions you could wear them that don’t involve work! Take a look at each outfit below and let me know which is your favorite! 4 PLACES TO WEAR BLACK CREPE PANTS

WORK ATTIRE

These pants will go with any blouse for work but I am loving this navy shell I picked up! I love the material and this is the kind of top that will go perfect with pencil skirts and other high waisted pants. It’s only $24 and I promise you’ll find yourself grabbing it to pair with different bottoms all the time!

DATE NIGHT

Change up your usual date night look and try these pants with a bodysuit and heels! Nordstrom has several good bodysuits right now that come in tons of color options – the one I’m wearing also comes in grey and white!

 

BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL

Sometimes life (or your regular 8-5) calls for business professional attire so adding a blazer to these pants will do the trick. I love this plaid one but you could easily throw on one in any color or print since black matches just about everything! I kept the bodysuit on from my date night look but a simple blouse would be great for the office!

  

CASUAL EVERYDAY

This might be my favorite look from the bunch. I am all about casual, comfortable outfits that still look chic and pairing a graphic tee with these pants is just that. I can see myself wearing this outfit everywhere from running errands to coffee with friends and even out and about at New York Fashion Week (can you tell I’m practicing for NY by pretending to hail a cab? lol). 

By the way, how cute are these oversized sunglasses?! I actually grabbed them in black and nude because they are only $19 and couldn’t decide which color I liked better!
