This past weekend my husband and I made the trek back to our alumni, West Texas A&M, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the men’s soccer program. My husband and I were both soccer players there (that’s how we met!). We hadn’t been back in a few years so it was nice to see all of the new facilities they built for athletics and spend the weekend reminiscing with friends and old coaches. While the drive from Dallas to Canyon is a long and boring one, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace leaving the busyness of the city and getting out into the simplicity of the country and being able to see for miles.
Now that I’m back in Dallas that means it is time to get ready for me and Taylor’s event at The Impeccable Pig in Snider Plaza this Wednesday! While Taylor and I usually take each other’s photos for our blogs, we had the talented Stephanie Drenka snap a few photos of us in the store wearing some of the new fall arrivals! I am always looking for pieces to pair with my high boots. This offered some great ideas. I have a few tunics a lot like that so I will try them out!
This outfit is so easy and cute, I love how it’s fall ready with your knee high boots. I didn’t know you used to play soccer, that is such a cool sport – I have no hand eye coordination so I’m always thrilled by every move when I watch the World Cup. I so wish I was going to Brazil for it next year!
