Happy Friday! I hope you caught yesterday’s GENDER REVEAL post and are ready for a new Chic at Every Age! Summer wedding attire can be tough depending on where you live (hello 100 degree Texas heat and humidity) and where the wedding is located. Whether it’s indoors or out, a destination beach wedding or at a local church, we’ve got your summer wedding attire covered with a few dress ideas below!
20’s: me // 30’s: Style of Sam // 40’s: So Heather // 50’s: The Middle Page
Rule #1: Don’t wear white. Don’t even wear cream. As long as you don’t do that, you’re on the right track. I always research the venue to see what kind of space it is and whether it’s outside or not. Typically when you receive the invitation you will know how fancy it is. If you’re not sure, I would play it safe and go on the dressier side. It is always better to be little too dressed up than under dressed.
The floral wrap dress I’m wearing is the least dressy out of the group. I think it would be perfect for a destination beach wedding or outdoor wedding. I love the wrap fit and cold shoulder cut. It’s a very flattering style and the dress was a steal at only $27.99! Grab it HERE. I paired it with my favorite wedges (have you bought them yet? I’m thinking about getting them in black…), a simple envelope clutch and some fun earrings. Charming Charlie sent me these colorful earrings and I couldn’t believe how perfectly they matched my dress! I linked a few similar options if you like this style!
Be sure to head to the other girls’ blogs to read more about their summer wedding attire! Next week’s posts will be full of my travel diaries. I’ll be doing a full recap of all three places we stayed as well as finally giving you a peek into the HomeAway property I stayed at in Palm Springs! Hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks for reading!
