Chic at Every Age: Galentine’s

Hi guys! I’m really excited to share today’s post because I have an exciting announcement! I am now a proud member of Chic At Every Age! You’re probably wondering what that is…

Chic at Every Age is a group of women that got together to show that style is ageless and that fashion can be worn in your own way no matter what point you’re at in life. They get together to style a certain item of clothing or hot trend to show a few different style viewpoints and inspire women of all ages. This is something I have always believed in and encouraged when speaking to other women about fashion. I have known these women for a few years thanks to blogging and I’m honored to be joining them as the “20-something blogger”. Every other Friday you will see a new post from us styling something new, four ways. These are the posts you’ll want to share with your mom, aunt, sister, etc. to show them fashion and great style is ageless. I hope you’re as excited as I am! Here are the women you can look forward to seeing every other week…

Style of Sam (30’s Blogger) – Sam is a pharmacist, mom and wife on top of being an incredible fashionista (and I thought I was busy!). You can always find her perfectly accessorized and incorporating gorgeous vintage pieces with the hottest trends.

So Heather (40’s Blogger) – Heather is a wife and mom who has beautiful and effortless style. You can always find her rocking a great pair of skinny jeans and the best jackets!

The Middle Page Blog (50’s Blogger) – Cathy is a wife, mom, grandma and breast cancer survivor who always has a smile on her face! You can find her in everything from classic staples to the newest trends.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner it was the perfect fit that “Galentine’s” was our first shoot together. Galentine’s is basically getting together with your favorite girlfriends no matter if you’re single or not to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It usually involves getting dressed up and lots of wine. We went to the new Honor Bar in Highland Park Village that has the cutest patio and delicious food. Instead of wearing a head to toe red or pink outfit, I opted for a black and white printed shift dress and a red lip with burgundy booties. I also incorporated this beautiful Henri Bendel gold studded bag that is almost $200 OFF! I love that we all wore something casual with just a pop of red or pink. You can shop my look below along with several other similar long sleeve black and white printed dresses and check out the other women’s blogs for their outfit details! P.S. my black leather moto jacket is ON MAJOR SALE – shop it HERE.
