- Combine butter, brown sugar, egg and molasses in mixer and beat until creamy. In separate mixing bowl combine flour, ginger, ground cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix until blended. Roll dough into balls and then roll in a bowl of white sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes. Cook time will depend on how big cookies are and how crisp you want them. I prefer cooking a shorter amount of time!
